Hi, I’m Dana and I am so honored to be a part of Daughters Collective! 

I love to have long chats over a good cup of coffee, so let’s sit  together for a moment and I’ll share a bit of myself and my heart for ministry. 

At the time of writing this, I am happily married for nearly 30 years, I have four adult children, three of whom are married, and two grandbabies, and I’m doggie mom to 3 Vizsla’s! 

Life is very full around our heritage farm; we live in Michigan in the US, on a 40 acre family farm.

We belong to a local church that has 100 years of history in our city.

I have a passionate heart towards women’s ministry and mentorship.

My story is one that begins with lots of heartbreak, living in the depths of darkness and sin, completely unrecognizable to the woman I am today. Unfortunately, I have quite a bit of relatability in most areas of bondage.

As most stories of rescue and redemption go, my despair was interrupted by a little phrase… “BUT GOD…”

 Rescued, Redeemed, Restored 

He has now restored me, and years later I am able to bear fruit in the exact areas that once held me in bondage. 

Daniel 3:27 tells the story of 3 men rescued by God from the fire, and when they came out, the Bible says that even smell of smoke was not on them. 

This is how thoroughly the Lord rescued me.

 His grace so sufficiently renewed my mind and repaired my broken heart that I can freely and vulnerably share about the woman I used to be and the great God that has saved me.

As only God can do, He made sure that Megan and I became friends when we met in Australia! I have loved her heart for this ministry, and the vision she has to see it going forward.

Currently, my ministry life looks like mentoring women, I lead a small group on Tuesday morning for women’s Bible study, and I teach our churches Freedom in Christ course. Recently, I’ve added teaching a class using the bible study I have written on surrender, which has been an absolute honor to be able to teach.

I love teaching the Bible, sharing with people how to walk in the Freedom Christ has given us through salvation, and teaching people how to embrace the power of surrender.
